1 About the App

Suhail is your companion on off-road trips. It automatically shares your location with your emergency contacts and sends them an alert if you exceed your return time without any location update.

2 How the App Works

• The app tracks your location in the background throughout your trip.
• If you exceed your return time and no location update is received, an alert is sent to your emergency contacts.
• The trip ends automatically after the return time when the app detects your safe return, or you can end it manually by tapping "I'm back safe".

3 Your Responsibilities

• Make sure your trip details are correct before starting.
• When adding individuals or contacts to your trip, you are responsible for obtaining their consent to share their names and phone numbers with the emergency contacts associated with the trip.
• Suhail is a supportive tool and is not a substitute for official emergency services.

4 Your Data

• Your full trip data — including trip details and the names and phone numbers of your group members — is shared with your chosen emergency contacts when an alert is sent.
• Your trip data is stored on Firebase servers and on your device.
• Location data is collected automatically in the background during an active trip only. Only your last known location and destination are uploaded to our servers.
• Your full trip route is stored on your device only and is never uploaded to our servers.

5 Limitation of Liability

Suhail does not guarantee alert delivery in all cases due to technical reasons beyond our control.
